O-ring and X-ring chains both offer perfect sealing to contain the grease between the pins and bushings, and to keep contaminants out. X-ring offers even better sealing than a conventional O-Ring, because it has twice as many contact points between the ring and side plates. It’s the optimal combination of maximum sealing protection with minimum friction.
